The Company is carrying out preliminary qualification of potential suppliers of goods and services, giving special attention to the business ethics of these companies.
In the reporting year, Norilsk Nickel approved the procedure for purchasing material and technical resources based on the electronic trading site Fabrikant.ru, using an electronic digital signature. This format makes it possible to significantly raise the transparency and efficiency of centralised purchases of goods, work, and services for the needs of the Group enterprises.

An important step toward raising purchase transparency and efficiency was the purchase made in the summer and autumn of 2013 by subsidiary enterprise Taimyr Fuel Company Ltd. of petroleum products for the Norilsk Nickel companies at the St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange.
The Company holds joint seminars attended by the Company’s specialists and representatives of goods and service supplier companies. In May 2013, a visiting corporate seminar of IT specialists was held with the participation of more than 100 employees of enterprises belonging to the MMC Norilsk Nickel Group and representatives of the largest IT companies and equipment manufacturers in the world.
